If you follow the latest automotive news, chances are you've heard that the Chrysler 200 will be going under for a redesign for its 2015 model year. This is exciting news for fans of the mid-size luxury sedan, but perhaps even better news for those who haven't considered it in the past. If you're looking for a luxury car that balks at the conventions of its segment, the 2015 Chrysler 200 is one to keep an eye on.
We recently caught a glimpse of the sedan being tested via some spy photos. And while these pictures typically don't reveal much, due mainly to the use of automotive camouflage, the pictures we saw depicted the test car in full.
So what can we expect from the Chrysler 200 in 2015? In the pictures that we saw, the 2015 Chrysler 200 is now sporting a more coupe-like roofline and narrow front end that gives it a more aerodynamic look overall. If we had to sum it up in one word, it would be sleek.
Meanwhile, interior shots confirm that the inside of the Chrysler 200 will feature amenities like an 8.4-inch touchscreen and oversized instrument gauges for ease of use that allows you to keep your eyes on the road.
The one thing we cannot tell from these pictures: powertrain specs. Unfortunately, those are the kind of things that we typically need to wait for an official reveal for. That being said, Lithia Chrysler Jeep of Reno is committed to keeping you informed. Should we hear anything official from Chrysler in the near future, our Reno, NV staff will be sure to post it here on our blog for you to read.
