One of the many great perks to working here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep of Reno is that these new and used cars of ours pretty much sell themselves. Can't say we're all that surprised by it, and if there's one car on our lineup that takes zero convincing from our end, it's none other than the 2013 Chrysler 200. Because with the weather like it is, there's nothing like a convertible to ring in summer right.
Then again, there's always the occasional holdout. Lucky for them, they've got the Southern Automotive Media Association (SAMA) to give them that extra nudge.
Just recently, more than 50 automotive journalists gathered at SAMA's third annual "Topless in Miami" event to celebrate the best convertibles on the market. We know, not the most tasteful name for an awards ceremony, but we're happy to overlook it ever since they named the 2013 Chrysler 200 their Best Full-Size Convertible of the Year. As for what they were so very fond of, we'll just let them do the explaining:
"We are glad that Chrysler . . . joined us for a third year at our Topless in Miami event," says Jaime Florez, President of SAMA. "The even continues to grow with more cars entering every year. The elegance and craftsmanship of the Chrysler 200 Convertible, plus room for four adults is what tipped the scale in the full-size sedan category."1
