You heard us right; the Jeep brand's confirmed that there's a Wrangler -based pickup on the drawing board for all of us fans.
This topic has been a dream for many over the years, but with the next-generation Wrangler in the stable, now seems like an appropriate time to hone in making it a reality. Concepts like the Gladiator Concept and the J-12 concept have had us primed for the idea.
?
"Sergio and I work very, very closely on the Jeep product portfolio, and both of us have been a fan of a potential Wrangler pickup," says Jeep Global Chief Mike Manley. "For me, there is a historical place in our lineup for it."1
A historical place for it, he says? Between 1947 and 1992, the Jeep brand produced pickup trucks. Clearly, the audience digs it. The question is, would you drive one?
Are there other concepts you'd like to see made into a reality? What would you like to see in Reno, NV? Share with us in the comment section below.
