Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking uses radar sensors to detect if you’re approaching another vehicle too quickly, and will chime to alert you. The available accident avoidance systems will help keep you alert to what’s going on around you. LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist alerts the driver of lane drifting by using visual and audible warnings; if you don’t respond, LaneSense® will help guide the vehicle back into its intended path. Blind Spot Monitoring detect objects in the driver’s blind spot zones by using radar sensors.

Cherokee makes it easy to get in and out of tight parking spaces. Available Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist will recognize an open parking space and, with the push of a button, guide the Cherokee into place while directing you to shift gears and operate the appropriate pedal. An available ParkSense® Front and Rear Park Assist System will alert you when your vehicle gets too close to objects in front of or behind you, and the available Parkview® Rear Back Up Camera displays a rearview video image and dynamic gridlines when you shift into reverse.

All this technology comes in a rugged daily driver powered by either the standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine or the optional 3.2-liter V6 engine. Both come paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, the proven Jeep® four-wheel drive system, and the assurance that the Cherokee is built to perform in the toughest conditions.
